Here you can test your knowledge about professional baseball, basketball, and football teams--simply for fun or to compete with other fans and "know-it-alls."

The "ground rules" are:

  • There are 50 questions about each team.
  • You begin with 100 points.
  • With each question, you must continue selecting an answer until you have selected the correct one.
  • You will be "docked" one point for each wrong guess--in other words, at the end of the quiz, the number of selections you made over 50 will be substracted from your original score of 100 (for example, if it took you 80 selections to make it through the quiz, 30 points will be deducted, and you will have 70 points).
  • Also, although you can take as long as you want to complete a quiz, 1 point will be substracted for each minute over 10 that you take. So, for example, if you end up with a perfect score of 100, but it took you twelves minutes to complete the quiz, your final score will be 98.

6 potential or would-be Know-it-Allers have taken a quiz so far

To begin a test, expand the league in which you are interested (MLB for baseball, NBA for basketball, or NFL for football) and then click on your team of choice. You will need to provide a name (either a real one or a nickname) so that your score can be recorded. Once you click the "I'm Ready" button on the team page, the "clock" will begin ticking.
